do you know if i can take fresh corn on the cob and use a food saver to vacume seal it and freeze it?

thanks for doing that research for me, I always forget I can google anything and get an answer. I marked that website as a favorite. Unfortanetly I was impatient and went ahead and just vacume sealed the corn and stuck it in the freezer without blanching it as suggested. It should be fine but now I know what to do next time.
