Saturday And A Kettle Corn Recipe

Well I went to Walmart yesterday after dinner and it was a zoo in there! Being the first of the month I knew it would be busy but it was not only busy it was PACKED and the shelves needed to be restocked. The lines at the check out where so long. One side had all of the lines open, but the side I checked out of didn't. I was 8 items over so I couldn't use the self check out. I was tempted to remove 8 things I didn't really need just so I could use the self check out, but I decided not to.

I cleaned this morning and am waiting for the washer to be free so I can wash towels. My son Eric is washing his stuff now. I need to get a shower and go grocery shopping at some point today. I'm not sure what dinner will be. I really want Italian sausage, green peppers and onion subs. The state fair is here and we are not going and I always get one when we go there, so I might just make them for dinner. Eric and Linda went to the fair Monday night and brought home kettle corn, it was so good. I make it myself sometimes, I found a recipe online for it. It's super easy to make. This is the recipe I use:

Kettle Corn
1/2 cup popcorn
3 tablespoons sugar oil, for popping
Directions:
Heat oil in medium saucepan until hot. Add pop corn and sprinkle all of the sugar over it. Cover and shake continuously until popped.
Transfer to a serving bowl and salt lightly.

Yummy....Italian sausage, onions and peppers....and the kettle corn sounds good too! I don't know yet if I'm cooking tonight since I have to work till 9 (but only 4 hours) and I may just bring home something. Tomorrow I'm off all day and I just may cook a pot roast in the crockpot. All I need to do is pick up some carrots.

Hi Shirla, I bought those clothes at a store called Fashion Bug, they have a website just add .com. They have plus sizes and thats what I wear:) I bought the shoes there too. Thats neat how you all live right by each other. Except everyone probably knows each others business:) Depending on the family that can either be a good thing or a bad thing.

Italian Sausage, Green peppers and Onion subs are my husbands favorite when going to the fairs here too.

I think that is the only reason he agrees to go most of the time:)

We are having Pizza tonight, delivery. No cooking for me. Woo Hoo!

My mom would hate it if we lived right next to her. She's moody, she shows affection and love through giving money. She gave me the money to go shopping:) I would love to live next to my sister, I miss my nieces terribly. We plan to move back to California someday. I'm in no hurry, atleast not to moving to Sacramento. To big. I like small towns.
